Programme Details
During the two-year programme, trainees will work in host functions, with cross-departmental attachment training, classroom training and on-the-job coaching to be offered to support the trainees’ development of management and functional competence.
Trainees will be assigned to business functions in Hong Kong or the mainland to meet the Group’s organizational needs upon successful completion of the programme.
Host Functions
Digital & Technology
The Digital and Technology team drives the Group’s digital initiatives. We have built an overall Customer Data Platform for the Group. We also adopt data infrastructure, data engineering, data science and analytics tools to draw insights and drive synergy across business units with the use of technology.
Data Analytics
As a Trainee, you will:
- Support data analytics work including extracting data, performing analysis, drawing insights, and developing actionable recommendations
- Analyze macro and micro data sets, identify trends, patterns and relationships, and derive business insights and develop use cases from various data sets
- Develop and maintain databases and data dashboards to ensure data quality and integrity
- Prepare regular reports stating insights, trends, and recommendations
- Utilize SQL, Python, Tableau and other data modelling and pre-processing skills
Digital Innovation & Technology
As a Trainee, you will:
- Conduct research and draw insights on latest technology / digital trends, e.g. AI applications, big data and cyber security and recommend best practices
- Work closely with business units to identify & drive digital & innovation initiatives for business results
- Support digital projects across various line of businesses
- Collaborate with data scientists on business problem framing and insight generation
Mainland Affairs
The Group engages in extensive property and other businesses on the mainland. The Mainland Affairs team ensures regulatory compliance with local laws and industry standards, build and maintain strong connections with local government. It also conducts market research to identify trends and customer behaviours to navigate challenges and seize opportunities in the mainland market.
As a Trainee, you will:
- Strengthen liaison with stakeholders in mainland community
- Conduct regular research and reports related to political and economic affairs
- Participate in public affairs and community services related to the mainland
Office Leasing
We manage the leasing function of the Group’s office portfolios at various locations across Hong Kong and the mainland. Our main scope of work includes formulating leasing strategies, conducting market research, working with agencies partners and tenants on leasing matters, planning and marketing of new projects, etc.
As a Trainee, you will:
- Conduct market research on office portfolios
- Liaise with agencies partners and tenants on lease terms
- Coordinate property management issues
- Handle lease administration & reviews and legal matters in relation to tenancy agreement
- Assist in new projects planning and marketing
Residential Leasing
The Group owns luxury residential properties for leasing in Hong Kong and the mainland.

As a Trainee, you will:
- Formulate marketing programme for residential and serviced apartments leasing market
- Make use of different approaches to build customer relationships, understand their needs and establish the best service practices
- Establish leasing partnership, manage leasing matters, handle legal documentations and conduct market research
Residential Sales & Marketing
The Group is committed to developing premium quality residential properties for sales. Our residential sales and marketing team develops sales plans and implements effective marketing strategies for new residential property projects.
As a Trainee, you will:
- Prepare for sales project launch including production of relevant marketing items, arranging sales brochures and PR / media campaigns, etc.
- Conduct research and analysis on residential market
- Arrange sales office logistics
- Work with business partners such as advertising agencies and contractors, etc to strive for successful launch of projects
- Provide after-sale services to customers
Shopping Mall Leasing
We manage the leasing activities of the Group's shopping malls located all over the Territory. The main scope of work of our retail leasing team includes formulating leasing strategies, planning and implementing the trade mix of shopping malls, attending to tenancy-related matters and managing fitting-out and renovation strategies.
As a Trainee, you will:
- Understand leasing strategies of shopping malls and how to reposition / revamp a shopping centre
- Conduct market research and various analysis
- Assist in renovation projects of shopping malls
- Coordinate management issues
- Administer lease review and handle legal matters in relation to tenancy agreement
Shopping Mall Promotions
With a diverse portfolio of shopping malls, mall promotions creates engaging and dynamic shopping experiences which attract customers and enhance foot traffic. Our promotions team organizes various events and digital marketing campaigns to elevate malls’ brand image, driving long-term customer loyalty and satisfaction.
As a Trainee, you will:
- Understand promotion strategy of shopping malls
- Organize and implement promotion events, branding / digital marketing and communications campaigns of shopping malls
- Liaise and maintain good relationship with tenants and agencies partners
Learning and Development
Sponsorships for Further Studies
SHKP encourages and supports continuous learning. We have long tradition of providing staff with financial assistance to further their studies. Trainees will be fully sponsored to acquire their professional qualifications during the programme. Full sponsorship will also be available for trainees to pursue a Master Degree.
Classroom Training and Corporate Events
A comprehensive training curriculum is tailored for trainees to accelerate their development. At the beginning of the programme, trainees are arranged to undergo an induction programme to familiarize themselves with the company businesses and corporate values. Throughout the programme, they are provided with ample opportunities to participate in various structured classroom training and corporate events to sharpen their communication, presentation, problem solving and leadership skills. Furthermore, training courses on diversified topics are available for the trainees to pursue their personal development.
