Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited (SHKP)’s APM became the first shopping mall to participate in the government outreach vaccination service. Today, about 300 employees working in offices or shops in Kwun Tong were vaccinated against COVID-19. Patrick Nip, Secretary for the Civil Service, and Christopher Kwok, SHKP Executive Director, came to APM to show support.

Mr Nip and Mr Kwok also took the opportunity to present prizes to winners of SHKP HK$10 million Day Day Lucky Draw, which was organized to encourage members of the public to receive the vaccination.

SHKP was the first property developer to participate in the outreach vaccination programme, held at its headquarters in June. SHKP took the lead again in having its shopping mall APM be the first mall in Hong Kong to provide such a service. Today’s participants came from more than 50 companies and organizations, including Kai Shing Management Services Limited, which manages APM, tenants of APM and major office buildings in Kwun Tong, as well as government departments nearby.

"Vaccinations to establish herd immunity are the key for Hong Kong to return to normal,” said Christopher Kwok. “SHKP has been cooperating with the government in many ways to encourage citizens and employees to get vaccinated to protect their health and that of their families. We hope everyone continues to urge their relatives and friends to get vaccinated and to sign up for the SHKP Lucky Draw."

So far, more than 1.2 million vaccinated citizens have registered for SHKP’s HK$10 million Day Day Lucky Draw and nearly 4,000 prizes have been given out. Eighteen prize winners received their prizes today.

One of them, Miss Siu, won an iPhone 12 128GB and SmarTone 5G monthly plan. She said: “It is very lucky for me to win this phone. I registered for SHKP's Lucky Draw soon after getting the second dose. I am very supportive of the vaccination programme because this makes us all safer. Most of my family members have already received the jabs.”

Another lucky lady, Miss Lo, won 375,000 points in "The Point by SHKP" malls integrated loyalty programme. She said: "For ourselves and others, we should all get vaccinated as soon as possible. I am very delighted to get this prize and will take this opportunity to look for some suitable domestic appliances."

For 62 consecutive days in July and August, SHKP will give out 112 prizes every day, including an iPhone 12 128GB with a SmarTone 5G monthly plan, and staycation packages at SHKP hotels. The prizes have a total value of more than HK$10 million. Eligible citizens who received two vaccine doses can register for the lucky draws before 12:00 noon on August 31. The earlier they register, the more chances they have to win a prize. For details, please refer to the event website: https://daydaydraw.shkp.com
