Accounting Officer

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting field
  • Good command of both written and spoken English
  • Proficient in MS Office application, including MS Word and Excel
  • Knowledge in Flex system or similar accounting system is an advantage
  • Strong aptitude for numbers and accuracy
  • Independent, self-motivated, well organized, detailed minded, multi-tasking and capable of working under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Responsibilities
  • Carry out book-keeping functions for entities, including month end closing, prepare journal entries, system journal entries, monthly reconciliations and assist in preparing periodic accounting reports
  • Liaise with other departments for information requirements/reporting
  • Handle periodic payments and provide general administrative support to the team
