SHKP calls on all employees and the public to vote

Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP) is committed to supporting the 2025 Legislative Council General Election, a pivotal moment for Hong Kong’s continued development. The Group is rolling out a number of initiatives to encourage voter participation among its employees and the wider community, helping guide Hong Kong’s future through civic involvement.

Chairman and Managing Director Raymond Kwok said: “The 2025 Legislative Council Election marks a critical step in Hong Kong’s journey from stability to prosperity. It presents a vital opportunity to shape policies that improve governance, drive economic growth and improve livelihoods. We urge everyone to take part, learn about the candidates and their platforms, and cast their ballots to elect capable and committed representatives. Together, by exercising our right to vote on December 7, we can build a better tomorrow.”

Initiatives to encourage SHKP employees to vote include:

  • Mr Kwok has written to all Hong Kong staff to encourage them to vote;
  • Headquarters employees who vote will be granted a half-day leave.
  • Flexible working arrangements will be provided on election day to ensure that employees on duty have sufficient time to cast their vote.

SHKP is also leveraging its property network, including its shopping malls across all ten geographical constituencies, offices and residential properties under its management, to raise public awareness and encourage voting on December 7.

SHKP fully supports the 2025 Legislative Council General Election and hopes to see the election of patriotic and dedicated leaders to help advance Hong Kong’s continued growth and prosperity.
