Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited (SHKP) advocates healthy, sustainable living and encourages staff and the public alike to exercise more for a physically and mentally balanced life. Today, SHKP Chairman and Managing Director Raymond Kwok put words into action by taking part in the Hong Kong Marathon 2019 Leaders Cup. Raymond Kwok said, ‘We at SHKP always encourage our staff to participate in charitable sporting events. I hope that everyone can exercise to stay healthy and help others at the same time to manifest the spirits of “Sports-for-Charity” and Building Homes with Heart. I’m indeed delighted to take part in the Leaders Cup today and experience the bustling and jubilant atmosphere of exercising together with others.’

In addition to actively supporting various charitable events, SHKP stages the SHKP Vertical Run for Charity every year and has been the title and charity sponsor of the Sun Hung Kai Properties Hong Kong Cyclothon. In 2018, the two events received widespread enthusiastic support from the community, with over 7,300 members of the public participating to exercise for good. A total donation of HK$8.68 million was generated to support seven projects for underprivileged children and youths, benefitting more than 10,000 people.
