Promoting a Reading Culture

The SHKP Reading Club – an open and complimentary hub – organizes activities, programmes and competitions. We continued to expand the content of our Read for More platform and provide opportunities through our Read & Share programme. These programmes, both online and offline, foster a passion for reading among students, young people and the general public and encourage them to read and learn despite the ongoing pandemic.

Exercising for a Good Cause

SHKP is committed to Sports for Charity and strives to promote healthy lifestyles via sporting events. Despite the suspension of two signature Sports for Charity events due to the pandemic, SHKP continued to organize sport events and offer sponsorship, to spread the joy of sports and promote participation among the young and underprivileged.

Sharing Good Deeds with the Community

SHKP partnered with various organizations to support community projects. We continued to serve the underprivileged in our community through signature projects, including the Building Homes with Heart Caring Initiatives supported by the SHKP Volunteer Team, the SHKP-Kwoks’ Foundation and youth start-up platforms. Embracing the cross-generational living concept, the company will develop its first multigenerational housing project in Tung Shing Lei, Yuen Long. The construction of United Court, SHKP’s transitional social housing project, is expected to be completed in 2022, and will offer 1,800 units, benefitting 5,000 underprivileged families.
