Report Assurance SHKP obtains external independent assurance for our sustainability reports. The senior management of the Group is responsible for engaging an external independent assurer to ensure that the information and data presented in this report is accurate and in accordance with the reporting standards. During the assurance process, senior executives are also interviewed by the assurer to discuss SHKP’s approach to stakeholder engagement. This report has been independently assured by the British Standards Institution with respect to the extent of its coverage, information and data provided in accordance with the standards mentioned above. Please contact us at sustainability@shkp.com Our Reporting Approach Scope of the Report Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited (SHKP) is pleased to share its annual Sustainability Report for financial year 2023/24. This report, covering the same period as the Annual Report from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024, highlights our commitment and achievements in creating value for the environment, our people, our customers, our supply chain and the community. The report also describes the sustainability performance and initiatives of our head office and wholly-owned subsidiaries of our property-related business in Hong Kong (collectively: the Group). Please refer to our Annual Report 2023/24 for the details of our portfolio. Efforts are being made to enhance the disclosure of our operations on the mainland for greater transparency and a higher level of completeness. SHKP’s other listed subsidiaries in Hong Kong also issue independent reports to meet the requirements of the Environmental, Social and Governance Reporting Guide (ESG Guide) as set out in Appendix C2 to the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited. Reporting Principles in the ESG Guide Reporting Standards The Report is prepared in accordance with the ESG Guide, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards 2021, and with reference to the 10 principles of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), the IFRS S2 Climate-related Disclosures (IFRS S2) issued by the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB), and the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) Standards, to align our strategies with international sustainability principles. This report is prepared in accordance with the four Reporting Principles stipulated in the ESG Guide: materiality, quantitative, balance and consistency as well as the eight reporting principles from GRI standards.
