YATA Limited, the Group’s subsidiary which operates department stores and supermarkets, celebrated the opening of its 10th store in Yuen Long in October. The 21,000-square-foot-plus YATA Supermarket (Yuen Long) in YOHO MALL I presents a Go Style and Go Nature design with contemporary Japanese decorations to give a simple, basic look. Over 60% of the stock is imported from Japan, with other premium products from around the world. Special features include a “Japanese x Western food zone” which consists of four Japanese food counters and two Western food counters, as well as vegetables from Kyoto for more variety. Meanwhile, the new YATA Supermarket at Kwai Fong Metroplaza is entering its final stage of preparation and is expected to open in January 2018.
