Macau officials visit Sky100 for sweeping views of Hong Kong and information on urban development

2011-07-21

Macau delegates to the fourth Hong Kong Macao Co-operation High Level Meeting took time out of their schedule to visit Sky100 at International Commerce Centre, developed by Sun Hung Kai Properties.  Sky100 is Hong Kong’s highest indoor observation deck and has attracted many local and overseas dignitaries including Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office Director Wang Guangya.

Hong Kong officials and Sky100 General Manager Elaine Tsui welcomed the delegation made up of Secretary for Economy and Finance Francis Tam Pak-yuen, President of the Cultural Affairs Bureau Ung Vai-meng and Deputy Director of the Macau Government Tourist Office Helena Fernandes.  The visitors took in the amazing scenery, learned about Hong Kong’s economic and cultural development and exchanged views on urban planning and tourism development.  Mr Tam said that he was very impressed with Sky100.  This was the latest visit by Macau government officials, following a delegation from the Tourist Office.

Ms Tsui said: “Sky100 is the only observation deck that offers a 360-degree view of Hong Kong and showcases the city’s urban planning and development.  It has attracted many locals, tourists and dignitaries since it opened in April, as it provides a unique experience that is a must-see attraction.”
