I joined SHKP as Management Trainee in 2003 and spent a fruitful year in Hong Kong. After that, I returned to Beijing and worked as Assistant to the Financial Controller. In Nov 2005, I got a chance to come to Hong Kong again, working as assistant to a top management of the Company .

Looking back to the past years, I think SHKP is very serious towards the Management Trainee Program:

a) During the training period, each trainee will be given a tailor-made training program, and the trainees are expected to get familiar with the operation of the real estate industry as well as his professional area.

b) After the training period, SHKP will still take care of each trainee's career development. Especially, since SHKP has been expanding its investment in Mainland China so rapidly, I believe the career prospect would be promising for trainees from Mainland China.

As a conclusion, what I want to say to trainee applicants is, "Choose SHKP, I believe it's a good company to start your career".

In 2002, I came to HK as a Management Trainee. The exposure in different departments gave me a good understanding about a company growing up from normal to good, and then from good to great.

Upon completion of the 1-year training program, I returned to Shanghai and worked as an Analyst. The learning I gained from the training program helped me a lot.

In May 2006, I came to Hong Kong again, as a member of the Project Management team to follow up Shanghai Luijiazui project. Thanks for the previous experience being a MT and the extensive people network built, I quickly entered into the role. From cost estimating, revenue modeling to tendering analysis, the new job not only gave me a great challenge, but also pushed me stepping forward quickly.
