SHKP and Citibank offer exclusive mortgage plan with lowest interest rate for Sky One buyers

25 June 2009

Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP) and Citibank today (June 24) introduced a tailored mortgage plan for Sky One, the developer's new low-density, luxury residential development in Tung Lo Wan Shan in Sha Tin. The plan will offer the lowest interest rate and maximum financial ease. Sky One has a modern style and is SHKP's first project built to a designer hotel blueprint. It has drawn significant interest and many enquiries since it was announced.

Sun Hung Kai Real Estate Agency Executive Director Victor Lui said: "We have had many enquiries since we announced Sky One and revealed its many unique features and facilities. Interest has been running high. SHKP and Citibank are helping Sky One buyers by offering the lowest interest rate in town. Our plan differs from other mortgage schemes in that it offers the lowest interest rate in the first two years exclusively for Sky One buyers, and the rate remains low throughout the entire loan. This is a first in Hong Kong and will give Sky One buyers peace of mind."

Citibank Global Consumer Group Director of Consumer Lending Lawrence Lam said: "Citibank is pleased to offer this privilege plan for Sky One buyers. The interest rate for the first three years will be P-3.35% (currently 1.9%) and P-3.25% thereafter (currently 2%). We also will offer a 1% rebate of the property price, making it one of the few truly privileged plans in Hong Kong."

About Sky One

Sky One is the second phase of Peak One. The development is in a prime location atop Tung Lo Wan Shan in Sha Tin. It will have nearly 100 studio and one- and two-bedroom units, plus five duplexes and four detached houses. It is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of next year. Sky One is designed like a designer hotel, blending art with its architecture and interiors in a unique style. The low-density development is set to redefine gracious living with appealing interiors and exteriors, top-quality stone external walls, full clubhouse facilities, exquisite service and more. The developer has invested HK$400 million in building a road that connects directly to Route 8 so that the journey to Central takes only 15 minutes and just 11 minutes to ICC at Kowloon Station and Tsim Sha Tsui.
