Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP) has won a top platinum honour in the latest Readers' Digest Trusted Brand awards for a fourth year running, more than tripling the score of its nearest rival. The developer offers the finest properties and service in Hong Kong and is actively expanding its mainland business. It also makes corporate social responsibility a priority, which helped boost SHKP's reputation.
Top developer four years straight
Reader's Digest has been running its Trusted Brand awards for over ten years. For the latest awards, AC Nielsen polled over 400,000 consumers in different Asian countries and regions in October 2008. People were asked to rate their preferred brands for trustworthiness, quality, value, understanding customer needs, innovation and corporate social responsibility.
To win a platinum award, a brand had to outscore its nearest rival by threefold. SHKP took the platinum honour for Hong Kong developers for the fourth year running. The wide margin of victory shows the trust people have in SHKP.
Building homes with heart
SHKP Executive Director Michael Wong was pleased by the honour, saying: "We would like to thank consumers for their great support and recognition of our long-running commitment to premium customer service. SHKP believes in building homes with heart and strives to offer the finest living environments for people and contribute Hong Kong's prosperity. This dedication to quality, attention to customers and constant innovation has helped us build a trusted brand. We will continue our pursuit of ever-higher quality and keep listening to customers so that we can offer the products and service they want and stay ahead in the market."
