The Group holds a 60% stake in The Lake Dragon project in the scenic Jiulonghu (Dragon Lake) resort area. The development has attracted high interest since sales of the first phase Villa Charlotta started. Over a hundred detached townhouses with views of the golf course and over 80 Riverfront townhouses in the last part of Villa Charlotta have sold.
Riverfront prestige
Riverfront will be in the heart of Villa Charlotta with over 100,000 square feet of water terraces, which give rise to the name. The semidetached townhouses will measure 3,766 square feet. Larger townhouses will range from 4,300 to 5,380 square feet. Riverfront will follow the open design concept of the first phase, with harmony between modern architecture and nature. The interiors will provide a balance of space and light, with large windows to admit sunlight and allow open views of the lake. The townhouses will also have views of the private shore.
Comprehensive community and transport infrastructure
The Lake Dragon is in the Dragon Lake International Community in northern Guangzhou, with extensive community facilities. Kai Shing Management Services will have a ‘Supreme Maitre d'Hotel’ team offering the finest service. Nearby is the golf course where the 2010 Asian Games golf events will be held, European-style villages and star-rated hotels. The Yew Chung International School, one of the top international schools in Hong Kong, will open its first Guangzhou branch there, to be called Yew Wah International School.
The prime site is highly accessible. Downtown Guangzhou is 40 minutes away via the Beijing-Zhuhai or Airport expressways and it will take only ten minutes to get to the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and Huadu and 90 minutes to other destinations in the Pearl River Delta like Dongguan and Foshan. The Dragon Lake International Community has direct cross-border buses to Hong Kong. The northern extension of the Guangzhou mass transit line number 3 is scheduled to open in 2010 and will connect with the Baiyun airport offering added accessibility.
