The SHKP-Kwoks' Foundation was set up in 2002 to support education and promote the long-term development of culture on the mainland. It offers scholarships to talented people for education and training, and funds studies so that gifted individuals can acquire new knowledge for the development of the nation.
Education
The Foundation provides scholarships to top mainland students with financial difficulties to complete university studies so that the students will return to their homeland and help to improve local education and the economy upon graduation.
The Foundation has scholarships in around 20 noted institutions including Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Fudan University, Nanjing University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Sun Yat-sen University, The University of Hong Kong, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Cambridge University in the UK and Yale University in the US. More than 5,000 students have benefited from the over RMB 300 million donations.

Arts and Culture
The Foundation nurtures talented artists, organizes cultural talks, publishes books and sponsors scholarly research projects to promote Chinese culture internationally.
